BiographyBirendra Bajracharya has been with ICIMOD for the last twenty years and currently manages the Mountain Environment Regional Information Systems (MENRIS) program. He is also the Chief of Party of the SERVIR-Hindu Kush Himalaya hub, a joint development initiative of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). SERVIR promotes and enables the use of Earth Observation (EO) and geospatial technologies for improved environmental and developmental decision-making. His qualifications include Civil engineering and Geoinformatics with a focus on Spatial Data Infrastructures.
