Abstract USV for Smart Waterway SurveyWaterway Survey is now playing a very important role in Construction & Engineering . However, providing the geographic data in the ultra-shallow, inland and enclosed waters are an extremely challenging and often presents increased risk and obstacles to both personnel and equipment. Traditional manned survey vessels are often unsuited, inefficient or incapable of completing a successful survey. Unmanned Surface Vehicle, carrying various surveying equipments, can ensure the safe navigation on the waterway where the underwater surveys are conducted on areas with intense river network and over-water structures. USV is the smart way that can finish the job quickly and perfectly, contributing to the great improvements of Waterway Survey.
