BiographyVenkatesh Panchapagesan is an Associate Professor of Finance and heads the Real Estate Research Initiative at IIM Bangalore. He has more than 20 years of experience in academia and in global financial services industry, and has been Indias sole academic representative in the advisory committee for World Economic Forums Initiative on Real Estate. Prior to joining IIMB, he worked with some of the worlds largest hedge funds and was also a faculty at Washington University in St. Louis in the US. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California, an MBA from IIM Calcutta, and is certified as a Chartered and Cost Accountant.
