BiographyBenno Koehorst is working at Rijkswaterstaat, the execution agency of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment. Since 2012 he is responsible for the coordination and execution of the international activities in the Rijkswaterstaat BIM programme. Also he is the projectmanager of the EC cofunded project V-Con. Abstract V-Con: an eu project for the development of software tooling to liberate data in linked data, GIS and IFC format. V-Con is a pre-commercial project cofunded by the European Commission. The project is carried out by a consortium of 2 national road authorities, resp from the Netherlands and Sweden, and two national research institutes, TNO from the Netherlands and CSTB from France. The consortium developed specifications for the development of software tooling capable of bringing together data structured according to objecttypelibraries in the rdf/owl format, Gis structured data and IFC data structures. V-Con published a tender to select market parties for the development of the software tooling.
