BiographyShobhan Chaudhuri completed his graduation in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in 1986 and belongs to the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE) 1986 exam batch. He is also a post graduate in Business Administration (Finance).
For the last 29 years he has been associated with management of Signalling and Telecommunication systems on important and busy routes of the Indian Railway network. He has undergone intensive training in High Speed Rail operations in Japan and Change Management in France.
Since last four years he is posted in Indian Railway Ministry (Railway Board) as Executive Director (Telecom Development) and is playing a critical role in formulating policies in modernising the Railway's communication and data networks.
