BiographyRajesh Alla is the Chairman & Managing Director, IIC Technologies Ltd., which he founded in 1994. Today the company provides wide range of Geospatial Engineering Solutions to its clients through its offices in Europe, North America, Middle East, Australia, and India. Rajesh is a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh - a premier institute for Artificial Intelligence research. He is also an alumni of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Osmania University, and Sainik School, Korukonda. An engineer-entrepreneur at heart, he worked in the Robotics Institute, Carnegie-Mellon University, developing automated Printed Circuit Board inspection systems for production use. He is one of the pioneers of Automated Digitizing and Recognition of documents. He has developed numerous Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence Algorithms. He co-founded Audre, Inc. in the US, a company dealing with Automated Document Conversion Systems. Rajesh was bestowed with the Indian Geospatial Business Leader Award 2015 in acknowledgement of his leadership in growing IIC Technologies from a data conversion company to a provider of end-to-end geospatial solutions to the Aviation, Defense, Government, Infrastructure, Marine, Oil & Gas, Transportation and Utility sectors. IIC Technologies was also conferred the Best ITES MNC award at ITsAP annual awards ceremony during 2014 -15. He set up IIC Academy which delivers skilled and productive resources to the Indian and international geospatial industry, Rajesh is committed to the development of the Geospatial Industry and Technology. He is the Vice-President, AGI India (Assoc. of Geospatial Industries), and Chairperson of the AGI Working Committee on StartUp and Skill Development. Rajesh also serves on the board of a number of companies including Palnadu Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Transducers and Controls Pvt. Ltd., and Alphageo (India) Limited.
