The INSPIRE directive implementation aims at establishing a Europe-wide harmonised network of 24/7 Spatial Web Services - the European Spatial Data Infrastructure - providing up-to-date, high-quality and reusable environmental datasets accessible for all. Collecting and analysing key quality and usage metrics about the published services makes it possible to systematically evaluate and show the progress made in data provisioning. The workshop will demonstrate analysing spatial web services and collecting the key Quality of Service metrics using Spatineo Monitor service. The participants will learn how to keep track of service availability and performance, as well as verify their capacity in handling a lot of simultaneous users. After the workshop they will also know how to get reports for their OGC and INSPIRE compatibility and for the service usage analytics. The workshop will also include details on configuring monitoring and availability alerts, running weekly and monthly reports. At the end of the workshop we will be jointly look at running capacity tests for spatial web services using Spatineo Performance.
