Biography
Simone Placidi is a senior radar engineer and joined MetaSensing in 2012, after several years of research experience at the Royal Dutch Meteorological Institute (KNMI), at the European Space Agency (ESA-ESTEC), at the Delft University of Technology and at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, USA in ground-based and satellite atmospheric remote sensing. He currently holds the positions of business development manager and of project manager with some dedicated support to the technical development of new sensors too. He is MetaSensing’s point of contact for all the international business relationships, especially for the Asian-Pacific region.
