Biography
Dr Ingo Baumann is co-founding partner of BHO Legal, a boutique law firm based in Cologne and Munich, Germany. He has wide experience in legal aspects of geospatial, Earth observation and satellite navigation industries. Before establishing BHO Legal, Ingo has been legal adviser within the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), Head of the DLR Galileo Project Office, and CEO of DLR GfR mbH, the operating company of DLR for the German Galileo Control Centre. He is now advising institutions and companies involved in the European GNSS and Copernicus programmes and other major European space and high-technology programmes. Dr Ingo Baumann is member of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL), and the Space Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA).
