Biography
Mr. Bisio joined Trimble in 1996 and has held several marketing, sales and general management positions prior to taking over worldwide responsibility for Trimble's Surveying and Geospatial Division in 2015. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver; a Master of Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts; and an undergraduate degree in Geographic Information Systems & Cartography from Salem State University in Salem, Massachusetts.Abstract
Geospatial Platform Empowering Workflows and System Integration
Many data-centric organizations can improve efficiency, quality and profitability by reducing the distance?both spatial and temporal?between field and office. By combining modern data collection solutions with cloud-based technologies to share and use field information, it?s possible to reduce the cost of information while simultaneously increasing its value and utilization.

As an example, using geospatial technologies that connect field and office, utility mapping organizations can produce consistent, high-quality deliverables. Office-based project information can be shared with field crews to provide immediate access to updated information and work instructions.
