Developers and technical resources in the geospatial industry form a distinct and invaluable community with in the greater geospatial community. The needs of networking and communicating within and across such communities are specialized and well defined. The Geospatial Developers' Forum addresses such a need and lends a voice to the developer. It provides an opportunity to discuss technical challenges across platforms, domains and nations. It also provides an independent platform for developers to interact among themselves as well as other members of the industry who need a window for communicating challenges to this community.
