BiographyMr. Kamal Arora is the Sales Leader at Honeywell Building Solution India and is responsible for India sales strategy for the business as well as for the development & execution of the India sales plan. In his previous role as General Manager for North India, he helped the HBS business achieve 3X growth in 2011-15 in a challenging market environment and geography.
Kamal has 23 years of extensive professional experience ranging from solution business, product sales, channel management, business development and establishing service network across various industry verticals with global leaders such as Honeywell, Bosch, Philips and Canon in the field of IBMS, Security, Consumer Electronics and Office Automation.
Kamal joined Honeywell in March 2005 and since then he had been an integral part of Honeywell in various leadership roles. In his current role, he is responsible for meeting, developing and nurturing key accounts and optimizing the India sales team?s performance to meet business goals. In his previous roles, to drive Honeywell Residential segment penetration, he forged alliances with Eureka Forbes and Godrej, market leaders in the residential segment and for his efforts he had been honoured by the prestigious Chairman?s Award by Chairman Dave Cote. His initiatives in Airport and Metro transport solutions have been recognized with the High Growth Region Excellence Awards twice in last 5 Q?s.
Prior to joining Honeywell, Kamal was responsible for forming and rolling out strategy for residential security business for Bosch and spearheading strategic alliances.
He has also worked with Philips, promoting consumer electronics range of products and in Canon on introducing office automation in India in various customer segments.
A Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication by qualification, Mr. Arora is an alumnus of IIM ? Bangalore, India where he completed his Advance Management Programme.
