BiographyDr. Niraj Prakash is currently Director Sales Consulting at Oracle India, leading a team of solution architects for Government and Public Sector. In his 14 years at Oracle, he has helped win and influence large and strategic deals for Oracle India. He is deeply engaged with initiatives and campaigns related to Digital India and Smart City flagship programs of the Government.
Dr. Niraj has 26 years of industry experience and has worked earlier at Microsoft and SAP in senior roles. He has been instrumental in the adoption of IT applications within government organizations and corporate sector. He has engaged with large companies; central, state and local government; system integrators; and funding agencies in the conceptualization and design phases of various ICT and enterprise application projects. Besides, he has extensive interest in education and academics.
He has been an author and speaker at several National and State level Conferences as well as engages avidly on academic forums and related advisory boards.
Dr. Niraj is a Ph.D, MBA (Finance), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) for Applications.Abstract Digital Drive and Spatial EffectsSmart Mobility, Transportation and related aspects of Safety, Parking, Traffic Management, Green Mobility and others have become the mainstay of Smart City Programs globally and in India. Digital technologies like IoT, Analytics in Motion, Mobile Devices, Smart Bots, Social and Cloud are quintessential towards driving such requirements of Smart Mobility. Additionally, embedded, integrated or joined-up location services, geospatial and geo-fencing capabilities in such systems are necessary to affect the desired smart outcomes from smart mobility services either by tracking the human resource or the mobility asset itself.
The session highlights the confluence of digital technologies and spatial capabilities across various smart mobility domains and demonstrates the smart outcomes that have been achieved across the world in various smart city and smart mobility programs implemented by governments and enterprises. The session is primarily focused on relevant case studies on global implementations of smart mobility.
